Have to admit that I have a hard time understanding the value of Twitter too….

these days, technology just moves so fast

Maybe it’s because I don’t really care
what you’re eating, or what side you part your hair.
I guess to stay in touch, it’s an easy way
but it used to be if you were being followed, you ran away.

While I’m at work, Google docs runs the show
sharing information with everyone I know
Web 2.0 tools, they can’t be beat
But I just can’t get myself to tweet.

140 characters doesn’t give you much room to say
but I guess it don’t matter when you post a million times a day
Updating your every move can be quite a feat
But I just can’t get myself to tweet.

Maybe it’s because I don’t really want to know
what movie’s on, or how many times you go.
And yes, I realize that it’s only words
but that logo’s terrorizing me like Hitchcock’s “The Birds”

I’ve had so many people tell me just to join that site
And even though I may try with all my might
2 minutes on it, and I’m bored beyond belief
