Sophie Madeleine, the ukulele-wielding songstress from Brighton, England, has recruited fans from all over the world to perform in her latest video for the song “You Are My Favourite”.
“After discovering all the wonderful covers of my songs on youtube, I thought it would be a nice idea to combine all the ukulele playing talent of the Internet in my new video. GO TEAM UKULELE! GO!” Responses came from all corners of the world to produce this truly international performance, perfectly illustrating how the World Wide Web is being used for unsigned artists to build a global fan base.
With half the profit from the release of the single going to Macmillan Cancer Support, Sophie is encouraging everyone to purchase the download via her website and “spread a little ukulele love”.
