Thanks for posting this beautiful version. Last Sunday while driving away from my visit with my husband who has late stage Alzheimer’s, I heard Sarah sing this on A Prairie Home Companion. And I could hear my own voice singing this prayer for “My Friend”. This so beautifully expressed the prayer of my heart to his.
