Good to hear from you again! The word was contagious. Not sure if it was the recording or her working hard to replicate the sound of Regina’s voice and her unusual pronunciations and verbal contortions. As for the two chords, it’s easy to get caught up in the technical talents and pyrotechnics and lose sight of the beauty that a simple tune on a uke conveys so well. I’m not looking for the most impressive uke song in the world – just one that moves me.

is it just my hearing going or is it some neologism invented by Ms Spektor or has Ms MusicGeek93 simply misheard it on the recording?
srsly. between the two-chord structure of the majority of the tune and that word, the otherwise quite nice performance was ruined for me.
