Thanks (or curses) to Woodshed for making me a fan of the best/worst movie ever made, The American Astronaut. Imagine Eraserhead remade on the set of Plan 9 from Outer Space and turned into a rock-n-roll musical and you are about half way to where this thing goes. The primary instrument listed for the soundtrack is the ukulele, but darn if I can hear much of it.
The sequel, Stingray Sam, for which knowledge of The American Astronaut story is said not to be required for enjoyment, is premiering free online tonight at 7 PM Pacific Time (GMT – 8:00.)

Update: Tried to hang on for the live show last night, but technical problems caused delays, so I just bought the download version. If you loved TAA, you will love Stingray Sam too. And for the uke fans, it is prominently featured in episodes 5 and 6.
